More than a Decade of Eyelid Surgery – Dr. Roungkaw Technique

Lovely Eye & Skin Clinic is a clinic dedicated exclusively to eyelid surgery. We focus solely on procedures related to the eyes — including double eyelid surgery, correction of droopy eyelids, and ptosis (weak eye muscle) surgery.

Dr. Roungkaw has developed her signature approach known as the “Dr. Ruangkaw Technique” for double eyelid surgery. This technique has been continuously refined since 2010 and later became the foundation for establishing the clinic in 2014.

Our Lovely Specialist medical team has been professionally trained in the original inner corner eye extension technique pioneered by Dr. Nutthamanee Siripakkaphant, M.D. (Medical License No. 35780), ensuring consistent standards and natural-looking results.

2014
Established aesthetic business under the name “Lovely Eye Clinic”, primarily offering blepharoplasty using the surgical techniques of epicanthoplasty and extensional lateral canthoplasty, which Dr.Roungkaw studied from Korea.
2015
Expanded into skin aesthetic services to provide comprehensive care and rebranded as “Lovely Eye & Skin Clinic.” to reflect a broader range of services.
2016
Introduced the Lovely Specialist medical team, specialized in eyelid surgery and underwent intense training in Dr. Roungkaw’s techniques, together with Lovely Skin team. We are also among the very first clinics to offer Lovely Eye Reborn, a non-surgical technology to tighten skin around the eyes.
2018
Introduced dissolvable sutures for eyelid surgery which was invented by Dr.Roungkaw under De Roung brand, developed these sutures in collaboration with B.Braun, a leading global manufacturer of medical sutures from Germany.
2020
Established Lovely Surgical Instrument Sterile Unit equipped with steam sterilizer for medical instruments and equipment (AUTOCLAVE certified by ISO 13485:2016), ensuring the highest safety standard.
2024
Dr.Roungkaw has developed a new technique called “No Stitch Levator” which is unique and allows the patient to remove the sutures at home five days after the procedure. This technique also includes Ptosis surgery.
